A warning against perfectionism
While I strive to be a consummate professional in my vocation as a Catholic poet, author and advocate, I'm sure if you look hard enough you will find the occasional flaw in my work.
When I get my feedback from the persons that make suggestions and help me edit my work I make it a priority to "clean up" my presentations.
Constructive criticism of my work is always welcome.
Just know that, in my humble opinion, only God and His Saints and Angels in Heaven are truly perfect no matter how much you may think "those" people seem to be so here in this world.
Just ask my family friends and neighbors if you don't believe me. I know how to apologize and sincerely make amends if I need to and will continue to do so for what I hope to be a long and fruitful life here in this world.
refusal to accept any standard short of perfection.
Catholic teaching regarding Christian perfection:
"According to the teaching of the Catholic Church, something is perfect when nothing is lacking in its nature or purpose. The ultimate purpose of humankind is union with God, also called divinization. This is accomplished on earth by grace and in heaven by the beatific vision."
"Perfect union with God while on earth is impossible; therefore, absolute perfection is reserved for heaven."
